Stubbornness, my dear boy, stubbornness. You see, when I was a wee
sipling, setting up a development environment was HARD, and I worked and
sweated and labored and figured it out (with occasional exorcisms of
daemons from my machine by the sipXconfig guys). And then this newfangled
thing called EDE came along, and it made it simple, ANYBODY could do it!
Where was the hard work, the cursing, the deep dark voodoo magic? If it
was hard for me, it should be hard for them too! And so in order to reap
the fruits of my hard labor, I still cling to the old ways, unwilling to
let them go, to move beyond the pain, and into the EDE.

Perhaps by the time we build on F12, I'll see the light.
