I believe (Bob correct me if I am wrong) that the Chat Room Log is saved on the PC that the XMPP client is installed on. If you have a Chat Room Icon created in Pidgin then right click the Icon and select "View Log" The window that pops up has a button on bottom left that allows you to Browse the conversations logs folder and shows you the path.
