However, giving individuals the option to control this also could lead to
issues, as an individual could remove themselves from being monitored, when
the administrators / management wants them monitored.  I agree this is a
good idea to add this increased functionality and configurability.  I was
simply making a simple option of whether to a station could be monitored or
not - which has many limitations.

There seems to be a need to manage if a user had the right to
allow/disallow, and then if they are able to make that distinction, to allow
them to be able to approve/disapprove those wanting to monitor presence.

Overall, I think it's a great option!

Now, where is that can of worms............
