During scrum the last couple of days, I have managed to confuse myself with respect to how the Kraken plugin is configured. I am mailing the list to try to clear it up. In talking to Martin more about the subject I have learned that the way in which it is implemented is that sipxopenfire plugin parses the configuration file and makes an xml rpc call to the kraken plugin.
This is perfectly acceptable and is the path of least effort for this exercise as it uses the existing Kraken config code. I was confused because I thought the xml rpc was going to be invoked by sipxconfig ( and it is not ). Just posting here to clear up this confusion (on my part). Ranga. -- M.
