The convention for this kind of internal identity is that it be:

  ~~<code>~<value>

where <code> is a two letter type code and <value> is something unique.

The registry for codes and how values are constructed is the file

  sipXregistry/doc/service-tokens.txt

I'd suggest the code 'pi' for peer identities.  The value could be
allocated to be anything unique by sipXconfig (could use a hash of the
subject name, or the name with special characters replaced by
something).
