Hello All,

FYI.

If you're a sipviewer user and want to save your annotation changes,
this feature can be handy.

Currently you can make change to how the xml log file appears in
sipviewer (eg. column positions, background colors, etc.) but they are
lost when you load another file or you quit sipviewer. I've added an
option in the "File" menu called "Save As...". This allows you to save
the log file either over itself (default selection) or specify a new
file. When you use this option your annotations will be saved and
embedded in the log file itself. So next time you or someone loads the
file in the sipviewer it will be displayed the same way as when it was
saved. "Save As" does not touch any of the SIP messages/dialogues in the
log file, so fear not.

Characteristics that get saved are: column position, background colors,
single/split screen mode and scroll location on both scroll panes.

If you have any problems/questions let me know. This feature has been
submitted to the SVN repository.

Thanks.

Tom

PS. The sipviewer annotation info is embedded under
<sipviewer_meta></sipviewer_meta> tag in the log file. If you ever want
to remove the annotation data you can just delete the entire
sipviewer_meta tag contents, and the file will be like the original
before the Save As operation.
