Well, at the moment, the References header just references the Call-ID of the inbound call leg. What I am proposing is to add a tag that includes the top most via header branch ( or a hash thereof ). This way, the inbound transaction at the B2BUA (from pbx or ITSP) would be related to the outbound transaction from the B2BUA. OK. I will flesh these ideas out over the next week.
