in the DB.
Of course, if we're not using the /var/sipxdata/phonebook directory then
it should not be created. Please raise a JIRA for that problem, and
reference this discussion.
If /var/sipxdata/phonebook is indeed not being used, then there's some
code cleanup required:
- sipxconfig.phonebook.dir should be removed from sipXconfig;
- also in sipXconfig, PhonebookManager/PhonebookManagerImpl should have
"ExternalUsersDirectory" removed; and
- "@SIPX_VARDIR@/phonebook/" should be removed from sipx-backup.in.

Actually /var/sipxdata/phonebook directory is not created at all. Hence the jira is
not required in this case also.
