It doesn't make sense to try to hunt for a solution until _after_ you
have a detailed understanding of the problem.  It's entirely possible
that this device can be made to work, and the fact that you've had
different problems with different units suggests that there are
configuration changes that can affect what works and what doesn't.

To debug this, you'll need to trace the message flow of a call with a
problem and see what's going wrong.  See:

when you get the trace data, take a look at it using sipviewer
and/or post the trace with a description of your configuration
(identify components by IP address), what you were doing, and
which call in the trace you're talking about (by call-id or
frame number in the trace, preferably).
