I mentioned this on the sipXecs users' list on December 8th, and a few people seemed to agree with me. I'm hoping that something like this might make it into the roadmap for a future release.
During the sipXecs/CentOS install, if the Admin elects not to manually partition the disks, then the install process takes ALL available disks and formats/partitions them. This seems more than a little reckless to me. Could the installer at least present the Admin with a list of disks for confirmation (and preferably allow some disks to be deselected from the list), but still perform the partitioning and file system creation automatically once the list of disks is confirmed? -- Mike Burden Lynk Systems, Inc e-mail: mailto: Phone: 616-532-4985 _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
