Hi all, Relating to http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-7325 : To/From CDR search gives incorrect matches (both Admin and User portal)
The current search is too loose, and we're in the process of tightening it up. There's some detail and examples in the JIRA, but basically the search will no longer add a wildcard to the from and end of the search term. (Matches will need to be exact.) But a question has come up... Is there need for the search term to match "external" To/From? i.e. SIP calls to/from outside the system domain? To do so, you'd of course need to specify the full AOR, and I just can't picture that being used very often. Note that calls To/From PSTN gateways would be considered "internal". (Searches will need to exact match the dialled number for outgoing calls, or the DID number for incoming calls.) So, I propose we limit CDR search terms to matching "internal" To/From.
