Hi All, This is query regarding the message that should be displayed on the Pidgin client when its registered user's IM permission is disabled. Precondition -------------- 1.Create a user group "Instant_Messaging" Configure the user group with the following settings: Enable IM account:YES Add user group as IM group:YES Add PersonalAssistant to the IM group 2.Add user 700 and 710 and these users to the user group "Instant_Messaging". 3.Register the user 700 and 710 to two different Pidgin clients. Upon registering the Pidgin clients respectively, user 700 will be buddy for user 710 and vice versa. The same is displayed on each client.MyAssistant will be added to both Pidgin clients. Steps: ------- Now navigate to the user group "Instant_Messaging".Click on the number of users displayed that belong this group. The page opens to display the users 700 and 710 added to the user group "Instant_Messaging".Select the user 700 and Remove from the user group "Instant_Messaging". Observer the results on the Pidgin Client registered to user 700. Current results: -The buddies added to the Pidgin client user 700 and MyAssistant will disappear from the client as expected. But,the status of the client will still be show as Available on the pidgin client registered to 700 and there is no error or notification message on the client..Please refer the below screen shot. ![]() IMHO a message should be shown as "[email protected]/work disconnected".By displaying this message the user will be know that he has disconnected from the IM service.Like the screen shot attached below. ![]() Note: On the pidgin client registered to user 710, the status will updated for user 700 i.e.the buddy(700) will be deleted successfully from the list. Please advice if this intentional an issue should be raised. Thanks in Advance, Chitralekha. |
