I added it because I was having problems with scstrial.ca. On that system, /tmp isn't large enough to hold the work directory, so you have to set TMPDIR to get sipx-snapshot to succeed. Unfortunately, as I discovered, it's fairly easy to think you have set TMPDIR but not to have actually done so. The "obvious" solution is to have the script tell you where it's putting the work directory. It seems to me that for someone running sipx-snapshot from the command line, where the work directory is is likely to be valuable information. Is this causing a problem?
