Hi All, In the latest builds(say 4.1.6-017878) I see that a new function "Unknown" is been introduced with respect to users who have Instant Messaging feature enabled. Here are my observations. Observation-1 ------------------ 1.Created a use say 200 without specifying "Last Name" and "First Name" .Enabled the IM account on the user 200. 2.Registered a Pidgin client with respect to user 200. After registering and once the client is up,I see that on the sipXconfig UI the "Last name" and "First Name" for the user 200 gets updated with "unknown"value This "Unknown" value is also seen for few of parameters under the "Contact Information" tab and for the E-mail field under Unified Messaging tab. 3.In the "Info.log" for openfire(Instant Messaging) a failed message " VCard for user 200 loaded from sipX failed! " is displayed. Please refer the screen shot below:  Query: Could anybody let me know why this new behavior is seen for the user who have IM enabled(NOT added under user group but individual enabled) Observation-2 ----------------- The above described behavior is NOT seen for the users who are added under a user group. 1.Add a user group "Instant_Messaging" Configure the user group "IM" with the following settings: Enable IM account:YES Add user group as IM group:YES Add PersonalAssistant to the IM group:YES 2.Create four users 300 and 310 without "Last Name" and "First Name".Add 300 and 310 to the user group. 3.Register 2 pidgin clients wrt 300 and 310. 4.After registering and once the client is up,I *DO NOT * see on the sipXconfig UI that the "Last name" and "First Name", for the users 300 and 310 getting updated with "unknown"value."Unknown" value under the "Contact Information" tab and for the E-mail field under Unified Messaging tab is also NOT observed. 5.But the "Info.log" for openfire(Instant Messaging) a failed message " VCard for user 300/310 loaded from sipX failed! " DO display. Please refer the screen shot below:  Query: 1.Could anybody let me know if this new behavior is intentional then why the users added under a user group DO NOT display the value "Unknown".
