Hi, The JIRA issue is raised for vcard provider to synchronize openfire cache when the user contact info/avatar is changed from sipxconfig/gravatar web site without restarting the openfire.
Currently the contact information is owned/stored by sipXconfig, the gravatar is owned/stored by gravatar. As the first step, there are two options I can think of to detect the change and act. 1. Polling 2. Asynchronous notification Since contact info/avatar is rarely changed, I would say option 2) is preferred here, which means sipXconfig needs to provide a subscribe/notification for contact information/gravatar change. For contact information, it will be straightforward change, but for avatar, how sipxconfig detects the changes will be another issue since as far as I know gravatar website doesn't provide asynchronous notification so far.
