1) why people would do an attended transfer somebody to voice mail? there are also two scenarios (transfer before login themselves to VM and after) _______________________________________________ 1234 calls 4567. 4567 decides to cons. transf. call to 8901, so 4567 dials 8901. 8901 is not there, so that call goes to 8901's VM. 4567 puts that on hold and goes back to 1234, tells 1234 that 8901 is not available, and asks would 1234 like to go to 8901's VM? 1234 says that's OK. 4567 completes cons. xfer.
