Nikolay,

Development of a new ACD for sipXecs unfortunately does seem to be
stopped at the moment.

Can not restrain myself from asking about ACD news in 4.2...

Is it rewritten using freeswitch?

I tried to look at the jira ACD issues... very many of them are
unassigned...

this arouses suspicion that ACD development is stopped or suspended, is
it?

Thanks and regards,

Nikolay.

        Subject: [sipX-dev] Status of 4.2

        Folks,

We were hoping to release software version 4.2 this week and
there is chance that still may happen. I thought I would let you know
what is holding things up:

        * Unexplained issues in registrar causing instability.
This is something recently introduced however must be solved before a
release.
        * Recent 3.2.3 Polycom remote worker issue we have just
found. Issue doesn't exist in 3.2.2 however still not diagnosed yet.
        * Upgrade tests did NOT work from the sipxecs UI.
Unfortunately this is still the case however we have identified and
fixed what was happening so in 4.2 this will not happen. Also have a
workaround to make the UI work which will be posted on the wiki. The
issue is with installing operating system dependencies.

This is a pretty big release of content. There will be a better
email around the release with more details coming soon. For now feel
free to look at the release notes in Jira:

        Al
