Hi All,
This query is regarding "All contacts on the Pidgin clients seen to be
periodically logging out login at the same time".
The contacts added on the Pidgin clients would periodically log out and
login at the same time when, the "_/Status message/_" value is edited to
any other value.This is seen whenever the "Status Message" value is
edited/changed on the /_User group by the Admin._/
After saving the changes made to the "Status
Message" on the user group, within 5 to10sec it is observed that all the
Pidgin clients registered to the users present under this group will
periodically logout and login.This gives a false impression that
openfire is being restarted from the sipxconfig.
I think this behavior is noticed when "xmpp-account-info.xml" gets
replicated with the new value for
"<on-the-phone-message>xxxxxxxxx</on-the-phone-message>"
This behavior was not seen anytime before.
Current Build used:4.2.1-018766
Could anybody let me know If I can raise Jira on this.
If not Jira, please let me if I can attach all the required
information(snapshot..etc) to the same discussion thread.
Please note that this is not harming any of the functionality for
"Status message" parameter.
