Hi All, Precondition: Go to User----> Extension pool Automatically assign user extensions from the pool : Enabled First pool extension : 200 Last pool extension : 600
Steps: 1) Add a user with UID 300 and Alias as 200 2) Now click on 'Add new user' link Result: Since First pool extn is set to 200, the New User page set a default value for UID as 200, though it is already been used as an alias. Observation: If I try to create a user with UID 200 and all other appropriate data, and click on apply gives an error : "The user ID or alias "200" duplicates an existing alias for a user or service" IMHO, when assigning the default UID in the New User page it should check for the ID which is used either as a UID or an alias. At present it is not considering the alias filed. Please advice me whether it is a design intent or shall I raise an improvement issue.
