16 GB RAM...It's only happened once. I wasn't seeing a memory spike

Also, a ruby script doing some CDR stuff went rouge once and chewed up a core until I killed it, then it came right back and started behaving

For those of us experiencing the java issue...how much memory does your sipx have?

I have a customer with this issue and the only thing I see different is they have only 2GB or ram rather than 4GB like most of our deployments.

But this is also a very small install with only 20 handsets and little usage.

Yes, Java is consuming copious CPU.

I have noticed doing small things, like looking at any pages within sipxconfig, sends the CPU usage to a very high rate, depending on the data being returned. Sometimes this is momentary, but when making changes, it is a "few seconds more".

I find this problematic in that if the CPU rate goes too high, the AA has "choppy" audio. Is there a way to limit to amount of CPU java uses or to be "nice" with other applications, because it does now seem to get in the way.
