Hello

Sipx supports "optional" Accept-Language" header field(I believe pass through
only) generated by Polycom.

This is the source of ALL Polycom cannot call Ciscos problems. Before i get
Cisco bashing(esp from Scott), I think sipx should take braoder view and
put "some" effort to make it interoperable with others.

Ciscos' stance on any header which it doesnot support (Accept language is
optional) is to return 406. This was implemented by them as easy solution to
improve security(Their phones are susceptible to flooding attack).

In sipx case, Polycoms are generating "accept-langauge" header, which is being
responded as 406, hence calls cannot be made by Polycom to Cisco(Reverse is
possible).

Now - the question - In polycom admin guide - I cannot find anywhere to
disable generation of this "accept-language" field. Since all of you work very
closely with Polycom - is there any setting in cfg file which can be used to
disable this header?

You may also want to incorporate this in the web config.

Thank You
nitin
