I'm trying to figure out why they are separate projects and services. If anyone has documentation on either of these systems, please let me know. I know sipXrls handles BLF but that's about it. _______________________________________________ They're separate because sipXrls can function without sipXpresence. sipXrls aggregates busy/not-busy information from phones into "resource list" events for subscribers. IIRC, sipXpresence subscribes to one of these lists to get the on-phone/off-phone status that is needed to construct the proper IM status information for the users. The advantage of this architecture is that the only subscriptions the phone gets are from sipXrls, and many phones can handle only a limited number of subscriptions.
