EX Expert is a great idea, allowing small sipXecs firms to continue to promote SIPfoundry for accounts that fall outside of the eZuce niche, but offers the Tier 3 support required to be a reputable support firm. And, it grows the sipXecs name and reputation in the industry, while promoting SIPfoundry and the commercial versions that are available from eZuce.

This is the kind of collaboration we were hoping for and it is very encouraging and motivating to see the community getting engaged in this way. Along these lines, I'd like to circulate an idea and hopefully get some feedback on it. We are thinking of creating an EZ Expert program for smaller VARs out there, who sell and install sipXecs into the SMB space. Wouldn't it be great if you could offer level 3 support escalations to your customers, backed by eZuce? We are thinking of wrapping this into a program, offer some training and create a list of certified partners 'EZ Experts' that we could put up on the Web site. Partners that are part of the program could then use our logo and represent to their customers the fact that they are certified experts. Comments?
