The current unstable build (4.3.0) has (limited) t.30 faxing support for incoming faces under unified messaging. I will be among several starting to test this over the next few days. At the same time, FS 1.07 will be introduced into unstable builds in what is expected to be a short period of time. When this happens, it is anticipated that adding t.38 support will be rather quick, and hence more testing will be needed.
I've identified several (10 items) that I feel should be addressed in a long term view for faxing, I have several other ideas as well, like shared fax boxes for departmental use and such, which is sort of like shared lines. It would be helpful to have others ready to test the current t.30 version as well as the upcoming t.38 support in the coming weeks. It would also be helpful to get feedback from both developers and users on the "laundry list" i've created in order to help prioritize what gets implemented and at what stage/release. Er... maybe the envelope icon can flash a different icon for faxes and use MWI too at some point? Gotta stop before the dev folks kill my JIRA account!
