Yes, "siphost.sipdomain" is SIPDOMAIN (SIP_DOMAIN_NAME according to
/etc/sipxpbx/domain-config) for my sipXecs lab configuration. FQDN of
my sipXecs server is: sipx.siphost.sipdomain
SPA942 phone is configured for use of SRV records. You can see this at
the line 647 of a phone configuration file
(http://track.sipfoundry.org/secure/attachment/26628/SPA942--rl-C--config.xml).
