Hi, we would like to replace an AVAYA PBX with sipx. As the users are more or less old fashioned, they would like to have a way to set their call forwards from the phone without using the web UI. We do not want to use the phones forwarding logic, but want to trigger the internal sipx logic from the phone.
I have already done some soap implementations with cisco cucm and perl, but not with sipx. As far as I can see in the wdsl there is no soapcall to modify the call forwarding, could you give me some guidance to achieve what I want? or is there any other idea to implement this? My idea would be to have an action url on the snom phone, that could trigger an event like the tel uri in xmpp to set the Call forward all. All thoughts, ideas are very much welcome!
