Hi, SipXecs by default inserts the XMPP status note "On the phone" when a user is on the phone. It doesn't change the status per se, if a user is DND or Away, the status is not changed, only the note is.
This is a definitely a good thing but there is one problem, sipXecs does also this when the user phone is ringing. It becomes confusing because from another user point of view it seems that the user is on the phone (thus present) while this is not actually true/sure. I think this behavior (inserting "On the phone") should be restricted when a call is actually established on the user phone. (not ringing) Or you could use another note specifically when the phone is ringing. (ie: "Phone ringing") What do you think ?
