Hi, all.

I am trying to install sipxecs from installation cd to a machine that does
not have internal cdrom. Instead
I used an external cdrom which is connected via usb slot. With this
architecture, installation cd can not be used,
because it says "Can not find kickstart file". Installation cd is based on
kickstart mechanism of redhat. It uses CentOS
as os. I think usb connected cdrom is mounted on a different mount point
then an internal cdrom and this causes the problem.
When it complaines about the kickstart file, it shows a textbox that you can
enter the path of the kickstart file like

cdrom:./ks.cfg

I thought that an internal cdrom is mounted on a point such that
installation environment sees it as "cdrom".
So I have to find a way such that usb connected external cdrom must be
mounted on the same point like an internal cdrom.

Do you have any suggestions ? Where to start ?

TIA
