We are trying to fully automate the installation of both a SIP Router
and a Conference server.

For us automation means that we can fully predefine the role of a
server.
pxe boot it and without any human interruption it should start
functioning in its environment. We're using Puppet on CentOS to manage
the rest of our infrastructure.
and in a later phase we are making both services High Available.

So far I've been able to pxe install the server and appropriate packages
and I've written a small puppet manifest that configures the server up
to the point where usually
(Well at least the parts we need dns, ntp, tftp and dhcpd are configured
on another server in our setup)
sipxecs-setup-system and sipxecs_setup_common.py hand over and enable
sipXconfig

Upon starting sipxecs afterwards we can log on to the gui etc ... so
far so good.

My next step is that I want to automate the configuration of the
different Server Roles I want to configure one box to only run
Management and SIP router

I looked at the API but I could not find a way how to configure this.
(I could have overlooked it however)

So how would you folks advise to do this in an automated fasion, (not
from a browser)

thnx in advance

Kris
