Hi George,
Followed following steps:
1. rm -rf /var/lock/subsys/mongod
2.chown mongod:mongod /var/lib/mongo
3.service mongod stop
service mongod start
4.service mongod status
mongod dead but subsys locked
Still the same problem.Please check the attachment and let me know
the update.
