You rebuilt it but you did not say after rebuilding it whether or not you
were doing a restore. When you restarted manually via cli and service came
backup did the configuration mismatch error go away?

The place to have looked would have been in the logs of the services with
the mismatch status.

I can only think that the mismatch was due to it not syncing up with the
master yet, and using the CLI it forced the resync.

I don't think you should have to do that though. can you send profiles to
the server now, is that function available?
