someone correct me if i am mistaken but i think the problem you are seeing is that fresh centos comes with hp printer drivers (the hplip-libs and hpijs you are seeing) and these require an older version of net-snmp (libnetsnmp). so the newer version from the sipxecs dependencies never got installed and cannot be installed because of the conflict. so give this a try...
1. remove the hp drivers yum remove hpijs yum remove hplip-libs (this will also remove dependent libsane-hpaio) 2. install dependency net-snmp yum update net-snmp (not entirely sure if this is needed) yum update net-snmp-devel you may also have to check to make sure that all your other dependencies got installed (when i tried to build it failed on this and then a bunch of other stuff did not get installed). of course, if you need those hp printer drivers you might have to search around for something newer. dc From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kyle Haefner Sent: Monday, March 05, 2012 3:55 PM To: sipx-dev Subject: [sipx-dev] SNMP Error Hi Devs, Here is the error I get from a fresh Centos install.
