Awesome, thanks for the tip!  I see it and will start chasing that down.
I saw some commits that indicated maybe the agent password was going
away but at least for now I want to be able to conform with the current
release UI.

actually, yes, user's pintoken is OpenACD agent password.

openacdagent.getUser().getPintoken() should do the trick.
