Not in this thread, but I did the same also.

I am not trying to add support for a single model phone like Todd is, and I
have addressed this several times well in advance of Todd's campaign.

I have reached out in the community and received good response but will not
compete with Todd's effort.

I am also not saying who is right or wrong.
