Where is the voicemail being stored (I think if there is a difference in the ezuce versus sipfoundry build it might be important to know this)?
At the same time there is a cron job missing in my system (I think). Unless there is a new method I am not aware of to do this (i.e. sipxagent or new sipxtasker of some sort), it would still be done from cron. If it were me, I would ask first to see if there is a newer method, otherwise I would test copying the voicemail_clean script from a 4.4 system and make sure to set rights to execute and octal 0755, then run as root from cron to see if it cleans the voicemail. I am able to run it in 4.6 using that method but dont have any voicemail to purge on my test system yet.
