Hi,

Have you changed (and activated then) voicemail dial-rule?

I use 4 digit extensions too and, as far as I remember, it was the only place I
modified ….

Also it may happen that you disable voicemail permission for the user… but by
default it’s enabled.

HTH,

Nikolay.

Subject: [sipx-users] Changing Internal Extension Length

All,

I have been out of the group for some time. I apologize. I
installed SipX ECS at the last college I worked at and ended up moving on to
this college where I installed Cisco Call Manager 5.1 (I feel tainted). The
last version I worked with was SipX 3.4. I am currently playing with
3.10.1-012233. This was installed using the single install cd. In SipX 3.4 you
changed the extension length under the internal dialing plan and the voicemail
settings. On 3.10, I only see a setting under the voicemail. I can get station
to station calling to work. The auto attendant works as well, however, for some
reason the calls to extensions are not rolling to voicemail. It rings for a
certain period of time before causing a fast-busy. I am wondering if there is
something else that needs to be changed. The length was changed from 3 digits
to 4.

Thanks,

Jes
