Hi all,
We currently have 4 x Linksys SPA-3102 units that we are using as both
gateways to the PSTN and as analog extensions. Unfortunately we
haven't yet managed to find a configuration that doesn't have
significant echo on the lines and as such we are looking to replace
them. This seems to be a common problem with these units particularly
in Australia.
I have now found a supplier in Australia that sells Audiocodes MP114
4FXO units, but before spending over $600 for one delivered I wanted
to know if anyone here would be confident that this will not suffer
the same problems of the Linksys units (obviously within the
capabilities of the PSTN lines).
If I can't then solve the problems of the echo on the FXS ports of the
Linksys SPA3102 after I have moved the FXO role to something else then
I was also looking at getting a couple of Audiocodes MP202 2FXS units
to take over that role as well.
Any comments or suggestions will be heartily welcomed.
