Hi,
When you enable presence for the BLF you can also see the following
in phone.cfg under the TFTP root directory of the phone:
<attendant attendant.uri=*"sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]"*
attendant.reg="1"/>
And same as mentioned the resource-lists.xml shows:
<list user="~~rl~F~442" user-cons="~~rl~C~442">
<name>442</name>
<resource uri="sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]">
<name>sd1</name>
</resource>
</list>

What would be the URI to subscribe to a resource list?
I have the following in /etc/sipxpbx/resource-lists.xml
<list user="~~rl~5">
<name>301</name>
<resource uri="sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>">
<name>Juan Pablo</name>
</resource>
<resource uri="sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>">
<name>Gaby</name>
</resource>
<resource uri="sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>">
<name>Claudia</name>
When I try to subscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I
see the SUBSCRIBE message been sent from the phone:
SUBSCRIBE sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> SIP/2.0
But the proxy responds with a 408 Request Timeout

Hi all,
Could some one comment on how to use the presence server in sipx?
I know this question may be subject to flame, since it is so
general. I know presence could be used for BLF and attendat consoles.
I am asking in the sense of how to use the presence server for
example from SIP-communicator, or to use the Presence feature of
Snom phones in which you are able to set the status as Available,
Busy and the like.
Is that even possible or am I totally lost in terms of what the
presence server is meant for?
TIA
Luis
