Hi all, I've found that a few of the Polycom default User Preferences values are not... well... to my preference. I think the defaults should be changed, and I wanted to see what you think.
1. Headset and Handset Volume Persistence to On. This means the phone will remember the user's volume selection between calls. The default for Handsfree is already On, and I can't think of a good reason why it shouldn't also be On for Headset and Handset. 2. One Touch Voicemail to On. This means voicemail will be dialed immediately upon pressing the "Messages" button. Normally you'd need to then press "Select" and then "Connct", though this doesn't even seem to work (XTRN-288.) I suspect most administrators pretty much always change this one manually already. Any objections? If not, then I will raise a JIRA. Also, if there are any other Polycom defaults you pretty much always change, then please chime in and I'll include those in the JIRA too. Thanks. -Paul [EMAIL PROTECTED]
