hi, fairly new to soft-pbx I have played around in the last weeks with a couple of sw-solutions and ended up at sipx for the moment. my goal to achive is: setting up a secure voice & video (future) conference server & pbx. following this, a few questions araised: 1. sipx3.8 supports "SIPS with a session boarder controller", what is a SBC and how to set it up with sipx? howto anywhere? 2. do I have to set up a vpn and route all rtp-traffic through my server, even on non-conferencing - user 2 user calls? 3. conference server is stalled till softswitch is integrated in 4.0 - probably may.09? does that mean, there is no solution for conferencing within SIPX till that? what about the old solution? I haven't found it in the menues anymore? 4. any good suggestions for userfriendly opensource softphones with TLS support to deploy on Linux, MAC & windows?
