Hi Scott I am sending this again because Towerstream crash as i was sending this about 1 hour ago.
Hi Scott Sorry about that I had so many email to address this morning I could only ask short questions. Then Towerstream went down in Chicago the last hour. Ok I have been reinstalling Centos5, sipX and OSBC starting with a fresh copy trying to solve a sipX or OSBC problem. The last time I did this fresh re-install I ran into this sipX problem, which I discoveredby looking at the JOB status page. I read up on this one doing a Google that's why I ask the question. A simple yes or no would have worked for me because the question was simple and direct. I was not trying to make a Federal case out of it. > What version are you talking about? Lasted 3.10. this Saturday sipXconfig (3.10.3-014144 2008-12-02T23:30:13 ecs-3.10-centos5) > What platform? Centos5 > What did you expect to happen? To immediately come up too be tested via the Configuration test > What actually did happen? all job associated with replication failed and tool 30min to complete the jobs list. > What were you doing when it happened? I changed config.defs MY_IP_ADDRESS ot ="192.168.10.2" then did a reboot, which i have been doing for the last 10 fresh installs. Hmmm But this is the first time i chose a private ip address. The last times i was using a real public ipaddr. Hmmm could this change trash the orbits.xml? I am testing OSBC and sipX on same box, Joegen of OSBC and raymund who is working on the sipX<==>OSBC wiki are helping, loosely working together to solve this and other issues. I have set up a sipX, OSBC on a Duel NIC Centos5 box and have offered Admin access to anyone to further test this Theory of operation. r ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Lawrence" <[email protected]> To: "voice" <[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, December 22, 2008 11:32 AM Subject: Re: [sipx-users] orbits.xml missing after fresh install > > On Mon, 2008-12-22 at 10:29 -0600, voice wrote: > > Hi Scott > > > > Was this a bug?
