Ryan,

After looking at your config, I think your problem may be that you're
using "SENDINVITETOPROXY = 1" which can cause the SIP conversation with
the proxy to work (which is where your AA's live, etc), but not SIP
conversations with other devices besides the proxy itself.

I also noticed that you're using a configured IP address for your proxy
even though your DNS query type appears to be set to SRV; are you using
SRV records? If so, you should just have ProxyAddress set to your SIP
domain name and not specify that IP address of the proxy. This might be
causing weird problems... I see that you're trying to register as well;
that shouldn't be needed if this FXO gateway is connected to the PSTN,
and the registration attempt is failing according to your log. You
should probably also consider enabling answer supervision and using
polarity or current disconnect instead of silence disconnect (again
assuming a U.S. PSTN connection). Without answer supervision but PRACK
enabled, outbound calls can have the appearance of completing only to be
disconnected after the IP alerting timeout expires because the gateway
didn't know the call was actually answered. Without the proper
disconnect supervision, the PSTN line stays lit for several seconds
longer than it should after the call ends. I'm attaching a copy of the
config from one of our working MP-118's connected to the PSTN. Let me
know if you have any questions, I'd be glad to help...

non-operator

Hi Steve,
Thanks for getting back to me. Attached are my AC call logs with debug
set to 5. working_log.txt is when Automatic Dialing is set to # 100,
broken_log.txt, when it's set to # 300 (or any user extension for that
matter). My config file is also attached.

Tony, I went with 3.11.9 because a) I'm already running 64bit CentOS on
an Opteron and b) I was under the impression that 3.11/4 is coming out
in February and should be pretty stable at this point. I've since
discovered this isn't so true as functionality seems to be on/off on a
day by day basis.

All the best,
Ryan
