FWIW - I tried using WIFI. Hitachi, Linksys and HP. Hitachi was the most reliable, fairly difficult to use and is now a dead product line.
Michael Picher might be able to give some insight on the Aastra DECT stuff though. i'm not sure what else is out there. We use the Snom's as a backup for when we're in the building and not at our desk, along with DECT headsets on our polycom's. We ended up putting a couple of repeaters in to boost coverage, but since we use the phones in a limited fashion, it's not easy to see the shortcomings.
