Changing the listed address in the sipX GUI just tells sipX that you've changed the address of the host. (Don't forget to "send profiles" afterward.) To actually change the address of the host, do whatever you would do to change its address in the absence of sipX. (That will vary depending on how you manage the IP addresses of your computers. In some environments, this is done by adjusting a DHCP server. In some environments, the .../ifcfg-eth0 file specifies the computer's address. Etc.)
