The phones were successfully registered/provisioned. They just wouldn't restart after sending the profile. The job status says "Connection timed out". I also tried with the phone directly connected to sipXecs via a crossover cable. It's not an issue for phones in the same physical location but if I was trying to remotely manage the phones it would become a big issue.

Obviously the DHCP options need to be present, and if you have phones that were used on another system a full wipe of the config would be best to keep any manually entered information from hindering either registration or restart commands.Gateways do not register, so that is different than a phone. You might also find it helpful to upload current Bootrom/Firmware for the Polycom phones and let sipxecs make sure it can deliver as compatible a configuration as possible. As far as "remove from list", there are filter features when looking for phones, as well as from choosing/filtering users and then selecting to show what phones the user(s) might be registered on. The screen you are at has a select all/deselect all button, though it helps to have two or more devices in the screen to see how that works for you. Can you describe what issues(s) you had with the web interface? Tony >>> Matt Keys <[email protected]> 05/26/09 12:11 AM >>> I downloaded the 4.0 ISO. The install went smooth, other than having to reboot a few times to get the web interface going. I've got a few other issues I'd like to share with the devs/users to probe for solutions. I have yet to find a phone that restarts after sending it a profile. I've used Polycom 301 and Linksys SPA-941 so far. I've got a Polycom 330 and 501 I'll test with tomorrow. On the gateway side the AudioCodes Mediant 1000 and MP-114 restart works. It'd be very helpful if there was a REMOVE [phone from list] instead of a delete [phone from database] button at this screen. (Screenshot attached) How do I view verbose output to see what's going on, similar to "asterisk -rvvvvvvvvvv" or a sip debug? How do I instruct sipXecs to use *72 from specific users/phones to unconditionally forward trunk/gateway ABC to destination XYZ? Very cool so far! Great job to the devs--I'm excited to see the evolution of this project! Thanks, Matt Keys No virus found in this incoming message.
