1. Configure the Grandstream FXO.
Advanced settings:
DTMF Payload Type: 101
FXO Lines
4. Wait for Dial-Tone(Y/N):ch1-8:Y;
5. Stage Method(1/2):1
6. Min Delay Before Dial PSTN: 500
7. Unconditional Call Forward to VOIP:
This parameter redirects incomming calls to the voip extension. You can assign
one to one or just redirect to the autoanswer system.
User ID SIP server SIP Destination
Example: ch1-8:100; ch1-8:p1 ch1-8:5060
This sets that incoming calls from FXO lines 1 to 8 are redirected to extension
100 in the sip server specified in p1 (Profile1) to port 5060
sip:[email protected]:5060
You can do DID here, configuring each FXO line to a voip extension
ch1:101;ch2:102;etc or try using ch1-8:101+
PSTN to VOIP Caller ID Setting
1. Caller ID Scheme:ch1-8:4;
2. Caller ID Transport Type:ch1-8:1;

Call Progress Tones adjust this settings to your country you can find them

Dial Plan
Leave as default {x+}
Profile 1
Activate Profile: Yes
Profile Name: SIPXECS
SIP Server: yoursipx.domainame or ip address
Outbound Proxy: yoursipx.domainame or ip address
Note: If you use domain names, remember to modify your DNS records to allow
discovery of the server and sip transport. You can use the DNS wizard in the
sipx webui.
Use DNS SRV: Yes (if you have setup the DNS advisor settings)
User ID is phone number: No
SIP Registration: No
Early Dial: No
Force INVITE: Yes
Enable 100rel: Yes
Refer-To Uses Target Contact: Yes
2. Configure SIPX
Add an unmanaged gateway, just complete the Address with the ip address of the
gateway.
Modify the Dial plan to use this gateway.
IMPORTANT: There is a bug in the Grandstream FXO gateway if you use transformed
numbers in dial rules, you allways get dialed the original number this issue
has been reported to Grandstream but, there is still no notice of a fix.
Example: user dials 944444444, you strip the 9 and the resulting number is
44444444, but the gateway will dial the original one (944444444).
