Just wondering how many people are using silence suppression over a sip trunk? I had a sip trunk provider tell me today that silence suppression is never a good idea for sip trunks. Of course, he couldn't really tell me why with any detail.
So, I'm just wondering what others are doing and if anyone has had issues with silence suppression on. For most of our deployments I leave it on as it really saves a ton of bandwidth. -M
