DISA is arguably a security hole. I understand why one would want it. Calling a customer from your cellphone would not give them your cell phone number on callerid so they don't keep trying to reach you on it instead.
It has a lot of negative press, being easily hacked (human security) and costs a lot when hacked. It's also less useful if you have a company issued cellphone, softphone or remote handset on sipxecs. -----Original Message----- From: "Picher, Michael" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> To: Yakout Esmat <[email protected]> Sent: 7/10/2009 6:21:47 PM Subject: Re: [sipx-users] DISA capabilities Not available now and have not seen anybody request it. I would think it would require a new service that would act as a B2BUA and sit in the middle... There is no obvious configs that allows remote users to dial into the sipX server via PSTN, get a second dial tone and then dial a second number to make an outbound call from the server. Is this available now or will be available in future releases?
