DISA is arguably a security hole. I understand why one would want it. Calling a
customer from your cellphone would not give them your cell phone number on
callerid so they don't keep trying to reach you on it instead.

It has a lot of negative press, being easily hacked (human security) and costs
a lot when hacked. It's also less useful if you have a company issued
cellphone, softphone or remote handset on sipxecs.

Not available now and have not seen anybody request it.

I would think it would require a new service that would act as a B2BUA
and sit in the middle...

Subject: [sipx-users] DISA capabilities

Hi All,

I was wondering if we are able to configure DISA on sipX 4.0 at all.

There is no obvious configs that allows remote users to dial into the
sipX server via PSTN, get a second dial tone and then dial a second
number to make an outbound call from the server.

Is this available now or will be available in future releases?

Thanks
