I am using sipXconfig 4.0.1-015823 with Polycom SoundPoint 320 phones, firmware spip_ssip_3_1_1RevB_release_sig.
When I subscribe to presence for speed dial entries in the user portal, the speed dial entries no longer show up on the phones (not just presence - the whole speed dial entry is missing). If I uncheck the option to subscribe to presence, the speed dial entry shows up on the phone as expected. I set up the users on the system using alpha characters for the User ID (i.e. names). Extension numbers are entered as aliases. I tried using both, but there was no difference. I also set up a new user with the extension number as the User ID (e.g. 201) and tried to subscribe to the presence for this user entering 201 as the number, but it still caused the speed dial entry to not be listed on the phone. Again, unchecking the subscribe to presence option causes the speed dial entry to reappear. I searched the tracker and found possible related issues. There is a closed issue for LG phones where it wouldn't work as expected if the name was different than the number. Just to make sure, I entered the same value for the name and number in the speed dial settings. It did not resolve the problem.
