I use a A102DE Sangoma Card with SIPX in a development environment in conjunction with their NetBorder software. Basically you need another server running MS Windows and Netboarder express software in addition to the SIPX server. You can't plug a Sangoma card, or any other card for that matter, into a SIPX box and expect SIPX to use.
The Neboarder express server acts as a SIP gateway the same way as a Medient 1000 or alike. The version of Netboarder I use only supports a few Sangoma cards, but I think they have a newer version that now supports many more cards. I've tested Netboarder with SIPX 3.10.3 and Polycom 501, 550 and 650 phones all running V3.1. firmware. I found call quality is excellent, REFERER works perfectly and no issues with MOH. I have been unable to get it to support SRV records so a high availability config is out of the question. I'll be testing with SIPX 4.0.1 and the latest release of Netborder soon, probably in the next few weeks. I'll let you know how I make out with the newer Netboarder.... Dave B.
